Kurt Cobain, Nirvana

3rd December 1989   Lamesfest, Astoria Theatre, London W1

This was at Nirvana’s 2nd only UK gig and they were bottom of the bill to Mudhoney and Tad, the then big names and Kurdt (as he spelled it then) was just another grunge-hopeful with a penchant for smashing his last guitar to release his pent-up frustrations.

 Of course now I wish I'd shot endless rolls of film but as it was I only shot 40 frames of Nirvana... 40 frames of history!
