Kurt Cobain, Nirvana

27th April 1990   SAGA Dining Rooms, Hampshire College, Amherst, MA.

Shot at a tiny Amnesty International benefit gig in Amherst Massachusetts with J. Mascis from Dinosaur Jr. working the mixing desk. 

Before the gig Kurt suddenly decided he wanted to perform in a dress and borrowed one from the Sub Pop PR, Janet Billig.

There was barely a stage and Kurt spent a good part of the show performing IN the audience.
