The Stone Roses

1st March 1989     Ardwick Station, Manchester

It was John Squire's idea to head up to this elevated station for the final location of this shoot. The overhead lines and receding tracks make a great Northern backdrop for the band.

Somewhere I have in the back of my head that John was actually a trainspotter but I could just have easily imagined that nugget of information.
