A cover session for Sounds magazine, I remember Richie wanting to spray paint the backdrop and me running out with him to get cans of paint from the local hardware store.
Unfortunatley in hindsight it was me that did the spraying as my handwritting is notoriously appaling!
This was shot on colour negative film but developed in colour transparency chemicals, an early photographers hack called 'Cross-Processing', to give a very high contrast negative, something easily acheived now with digital technology but at the time was very WOW!
