Pulp
March 1994 Sly St Studio, London E1
Shot on a 5x4 plate camera, kinda like an old 'Watch the birdie' bellows camera, usually used for architectural and advertising photography.
You could only shoot one picture at a time and then change the film back so it was slow and you once you'd focused you had to load the film before making the exposure.
It was a real faf to use but the results are quite astounding.
This backdrop was an homage to my student digs in Shefield (Pulp's hometown) with orange flock wallpaper on the walls... in this photo it was a studio 'flat' wallpapered and painted this fetching orange hue.
